• League data — league names, team names, player names, game scores, and statistics that you enter into the Service
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and general interaction with the Service

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Display league standings, stats, and schedules to authorized viewers
• Send transactional communications (e.g. score update notifications, if enabled)

3. Authentication — Clerk

We use Clerk (clerk.com) for user authentication. When you sign in with Google or email/password, Clerk handles your credentials securely. 4. Advertising — Google AdSense

The free tier of Sports Ball Leagues displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings. Pro subscribers do not see advertisements.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers — Neon (database hosting), Vercel (web hosting), Clerk (authentication), Google AdSense (advertising)
• Public league viewers — if you create a public league, player names and stats are visible to anyone with the link
• Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect our rights

6. Player Data & Consent

League administrators may enter player names and statistics for individuals who may not have accounts on the Service. If you are a league administrator, you are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from participants before entering their personal information and making it publicly visible on a public league page.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. League data (teams, games, stats) is retained until you delete it or delete your league. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at hello@playsbl.com.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication (managed by Clerk) and advertising (managed by Google AdSense). You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling cookies may affect Service functionality.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
